I can totally imagine that John would be the beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, so NOW HE IS. Yup.
And Sherlock's just looking all nerdy and kinda shy since he doesn't really know how to react to his only friend looking super excited about something Sherlock doesn't really care about.

That's just what I imagine too! If he isn't Beater on Hufflepuff's team. Sherlock wouldn't have time for Quidditch. He'd be in Advanced Arithmancy or something like that by his third year, his second year if he was really lucky.
